Privacy Policy
This site uses Google Analytics to see what bits of the site people find interesting. It helps me understand things like how many folks visit, how long they stick around on a page, and roughly where in the world they're visiting from.
What is Google Analytics?
Google Analytics helps me track things like:
- The number of times each page gets visited.
- How long people spend looking at a page.
- General location data (like which country you're in).
How do I use the data?
This info helps me figure out:
- Which parts of my site are working well and keeping people engaged (by looking at how long they stay).
- If people are landing on a page and then quickly leaving.
Cookies and Tracking
Google Analytics does use cookies to do its thing. These are small files that help it remember you (anonymously) when you come back to the site. While I'd love to avoid them completely, they are part of how Google Analytics provides its insights.
Your Data
The data collected is mostly about overall trends rather than individual people. Google Analytics provides me with aggregated reports, so I'm not really looking at individual browsing sessions.
Links to Other Websites
Just a heads-up, if you click on links to other sites (like my LinkedIn), they'll have their own privacy policies, and I can't be responsible for those.
Updates to this Policy
If I ever change how I handle privacy, I'll update this page.
Wow - I can't believe you read all that!
